Many European vehicles use amplified audio systems that use MOST Bus Fibre Optic technology to simplify and improve vehicle communications. However, this can make it challenging to replace the factory installed radio with an after market Audio system that has much more up to date technology. This product will maintain the Harmon Kardon factory Amplified systems on Mercedes Benz Vehicles.
Compatible with the following Mercedes Benz Vehicles with Command NTG1 system and Harmon Kardon Sound System:-
- W211 E Class from 04/2003 until 06/2008
- W219 CLS Class til 06/2006
- R171 SLK Class til 06/2008
- R230 SL Class From 07/2004 til 03/2008
Note:- This system is not compatible with NTG2.5 or NTG2 systems. Please use MB-AMP-03 for these vehicles.
- Fader control is not supported with this part.
